The SYSTCM platform supports various forms of input, including the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) name, its pinyin name, latin name, molecular name, PubChem ID, CAS number, and more. It facilitates the exploration of multi-tiered interactions between TCM, their components, pharmacological effects, and therapeutic efficacies.

636 traditional Chinese medicines, 8190 components, 465 targets of 40 pharmacological effects and 18 efficacies information were collected and processed from Chinese pharmacopoeia, DrugBank, CTD, books and literature.

Based on 20,000 samples, we established the identification model of pharmacological effects(IPE) using convolutional neural network frameworks of GoogLeNet.

Based on 3596 samples, 18 recognition models of TCM efficacy (RTE) of components were created by SVM.

It can be used to search all components with a certain pharmacological effect, and the efficacies and pharmacological effects of all components of a TCM, and can further obtain the key ingredients, pharmacological effects and efficacies of a TCM through network analysis.

SYSTCM-Aromatic now includes data on 62 herbs and 430 components, using a CNN model to predict pharmacological effects.
